Controversial Toronto mayor, Rob Ford is in Los Angeles to attend the Oscars. He may be going as the guest of Comedian and Host of ABC Network's Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy Kimmel. Ford known for admitting that he has smoked crack cocaine after controversial videos appeared to show him in compromising situations including smoking crack, ranting about city Councillors and mimicking a Jamaican street accent.

Mr. Ford was received at Los Angeles (LAX) airport by Jimmy Kimmel, the comedian host of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel was dressed as a limo driver complete with a black hat, and was holding a sign FORD JK Limos printed on it. It is believed Mr Ford will be appearing at Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday.

Ford is notorious for his bully tactics, emotional outbursts and rantings. He denied there was a video or that he smoked crack when the videos surfaced in May 2013 after the website Gawker and Toronto Star newspaper claimed to have been offered the cellphone recorded videos. Ford refused to resign after many calls for his resignation including members of his own party who advised him to quit office and take care of himself by going to rehab after Toronto police confirmed on October 31, 2013 that the had the said videos.
